Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Leela Care LLC, doing business as Priya Health ("Priya Health," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit priyahealth.ai or use our services.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us: name, email address, mobile phone number, and the messages you send us, including texts to Priya, our automated assistant. Care information: if you use our care-coordination services, we may receive health-related documents and information about the patient you support, from you or from healthcare providers. Technical information: basic data such as browser type and pages visited.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and improve our services; send the notifications you've requested, including text messages; verify your identity; respond to you; and comply with legal obligations.
To read documents and answer texts, we use automated tools, including AI models that run in our own secure cloud environment in the United States under agreements that protect health information. These providers do not use your information to train their models.
3. Health information
When we handle protected health information on behalf of a healthcare provider or health plan, we do so under a Business Associate Agreement as required by HIPAA, and we use it only to provide the services. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect it, and we work only with service providers who agree to protect it as well.
4. Mobile and text-messaging information
We use your mobile number to send the text messages you opted in to receive (see our SMS terms).
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with service providers who help us deliver messages (for example, our messaging platform), solely to provide the service. All of the above categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We keep a record of your consent to receive texts (when you were invited and your reply) and of any opt-out. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only: with the people a patient (or their authorized representative) has chosen to include in their care circle; with service providers who help us operate the services under confidentiality obligations; when required by law; or to protect the safety of any person.
6. Data retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed to provide the services and meet legal obligations, and we protect it with safeguards such as encryption and access controls.
7. Your choices
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your information, and you can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Contact us at hello@priyahealth.ai.
8. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and accounts are for adults.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
